Help us shape the future of Structural Integrity.
At Fracture and Structural Integrity, the quality and rigour of our scientific content depend on the dedication of our reviewers. We invite experts from all relevant fields—including engineering, metallurgy, materials science, physics, chemistry, and mathematics—to join our international panel of referees.
By joining our team, you become a guardian of scientific integrity and a vital part of a community-driven, Diamond Open Access mission.
Why review for us? (reviewer benefits)
We deeply value your time and expertise. To recognise your commitment, we offer a comprehensive set of incentives:
- Elite & Premium Status: Referees who consistently provide high-quality evaluations within 7 days achieve "Elite Status" and enter the selection for our annual Reviewer Hall of Fame (Top 10). This achievement also grants you "Premium Status", entitling you to a one-year preferential fast-track for your own future submissions as a corresponding author, ensuring priority editorial handling.
- Global Recognition: We are official partners of Clarivate (formerly Publons) and Reviewer Credits. You can easily record and certify your contributions on these platforms to build your academic reputation.
- Certificates & Rewards: Upon completion of a review, you will receive an instant reviewer certificate and a €10 coupon redeemable toward any IGF-organised event within two years. These coupons are cumulative!
- Career Advancement: Reviewing for an indexed journal (Scopus, Web of Science) is an excellent way to stay at the forefront of research and enhance your professional profile.
